I’m studying Law, what referencing style should I use?

Answer

If you are studying Law you should use the OSCOLA referencing style.

The OSCOLA reference guide provides advice on how to reference a wide range of different resources. It can be found at https://www.law.ox.ac.uk/sites/files/oxlaw/oscola_4th_edn_hart_2012.pdf.

If you need further help with referencing you can look at the Law Subject Guide at http://libguides.rhul.ac.uk/Law and select ‘Citing and Referencing’.

Alternatively you can email or book a 1-2-1 appointment with the Information Consultant for Law at https://libguides.rhul.ac.uk/informationconsultants.
