I want a digital copy of a chapter/article that the library does not hold electronically, can I embed this on my Moodle page?

Answer

The library is able to request digital copies of chapters and articles that are added to Aspire Reading lists that we don't have access to online. This is subject to certain restrictions, details of which can be found on our Digital Copies for Teaching pages on the staff intranet. Please bookmark the chapter/article and when the library is completing it's checks of your Aspire list they will request digital copies where appropriate.

If this request is successful a link will be created to this content and automatically added to the relevant chapter/article on your Aspire list. If this request is not successful we will add a note to the item on the Aspire list and also contact you directly.

If you have a list that is arranged as a bibliography and not week by week and you want to embed just this resource into an area on your Moodle page we recommend adding a specific section to your reading list.

You can then add the chapter/article to this relevant section by clicking on the 3 dots at the end of the item and clicking "Add to my bookmarks".

Then go to the new section you have created and press "Add Resource" and this should bring up your bookmarks and the one you have just added will be at the top of the list. When this is done you can then integrate your list with Moodle and just select this section when integrating to make the resource appear wherever you want on your Moodle page.Click on the three dots on the far right side of the item and select add to my bookmarks from the drop downNB if this item is already in your bookmarks you will just need to click add resource and search for it in your bookmarks.
